I have run this website for many years, but I'm afraid the time has come and I've been forced to close it. The internet is not the same place now as it was years ago when I first created Girls F1, and unfortunately it is not as simple now just to run a fun website to share your passion for a subject with other people.

I can't go into much detail, but due to legal reasons I have had to close the site.

I am really sorry for all of you who enjoy the website, and want to thank you for all your years of visiting. Thanks go to those of you who bought my jewellery over the years and helped support the site :o) (see the link at the bottom of the page for some Isobel jewellery info!) I have made some great friends through the site, and I know some of you have as well, and I have had some great experiences. And I suppose it all had to end sometime, it is just rather sad that it had to be this way.

The forum is still running here, still a great place to chat about F1 with other knowledgeable female fans :o)
If you want to get in touch you can email me
Or you can post a message on the memorial guestbook! here

It is the end of an era for me, and in a way what has happened mirrors for me how I have watched F1 change over the years. It used to be an exciting sport, for the entertainment of the fans. Lately it seems to be becoming heavily corporate, a business run for those who make money out of it, cutting out the fans. I'm afraid my website has been a casualty of something similar.

Thanks again,
Isobel

I do now run another website, and I'd love for you to take look! I hand-make and sell jewellery that looks like sweets: dolly mixtures, flumps, donuts, cakes, that sort of thing :o) Please visit!
